If you’re here, it’s because you’re getting a copy of the book for free — you lucky devil, you! (In case you want some more information about the book itself, including a description and whatnot, click here.)
At the very bottom of this page, you can find downloads for the AZW3, EPUB, and PDF versions of the book.
I’ve provided all three for your convenience, but in case you’re not sure which one you need:
- AZW3 is for Kindle devices. You’ll need to ‘sideload’ it onto your Kindle, which just means transferring it manually via your computer and is very quick/easy to do. I’ve had great experiences with the popular freeware app Calibre and it really helps streamline tasks like this; here’s their guide to sideloading (just scroll down the page a bit). Of course, you can also sideload without the use of an app. I believe you can just directly copy the file into the Documents folder on your Kindle, via your computer’s file browser.
- Be advised, sideloading an eBook can — in my experience — sometimes cause the Kindle to default to displaying the book with the Kindle’s built-in font, overriding the included handpicked fonts. If you’d like to know how to get it to display the book as intended, it’s very simple: I provide an explanation with screenshots here.
- EPUB is for all other eReader devices and eBook reading apps on phones and the like. In my opinion, it’s the best format for reading the book in.
- PDF is just an exact, static replica of the inside of the printed version of the book (and therefore significantly less flexible than the other files.) It can be opened and read by a large variety of apps. You may need to right-click the download button and click ‘save link as’ in order to actually download it, otherwise it may just open up in whatever your default PDF program is set as.
By the way, I strongly recommend that if you’re reading one of the file formats that allow you to choose the font, go ahead and select the font the book comes with, which may be labelled ‘Publisher Font’ or ‘Publisher Default’ or something like that in the font selection box. The book was created/provided with that font for several reasons and I just think it’ll give you the best reading experience.
But enough with the boring technical stuff. Here are the download links — I hope you enjoy the book!
